Navarrete Research Laboratory at Michigan State University   Participation for Cash Payment - Signup Instructions Below is information for those interested in participating in research for cash payment. Step 1: Registration: Go to the  MSU Psychology Department's Study Participation site here.  If this is your first time using HPR, you must click "Create an Account", otherwise you may log in using your current log in info and skip to step 3. Step 2: Account Creation Your Account Creation ID is "psych2008". Upon entrance provide all the requested information. Once your account is created, you will be able to log directly into the system with your user ID and password. Step 3: Select "Course" Number When you are prompted for the course and section number select "PSYCH 1000 - Psych Study Participants".  It is critical that you select this course since it has been created especially for those wishing to participate for pay only. If you select an incorrect course or section, you will not be able to view which studies are available for participation payment. Step 4: Schedule yourself for an experiment. When you have correctly registered and signed up for Psych 1000, you will see a list of studies for which you are eligible. Please click on one of them to see a description of the study, and the amount of pay available. If you don't see any available slots, return in a few days and there should be more available. Directions to the Navarrete Research Lab Our lab is located in the basement level of the Psychology Building in room 83. From Grand River and Collingwood, the Psychology Building is the first structure on your left.
